Haha. I realize it's been since October I have actually blogged on here, but I'm getting used to the habit of coming back on here again. Thank God for Facebook, which reminded me about this:D So this Father-Son Camp-out was something for the Upstreet kids and letting the kids actually have a chance to hang out with their dad because they are always at work or something out of town or something else. The girls of Upstreet had the same opportunity before this. I had the amazing opportunity to go and volunteer and help out at this camp-out. It was amazing to see the kids bonding more in their relationship with their father. My father came into mind when I saw all these kids just having fun with their father. You see, my father had some issues with my mom that I won't go to deep into, but they divorced. I didn't see him much until I was about 8 or 9. I didn't want this to happen to them. I hope it doesn't either. Just seeing the kids bonding more reminded me of him because of the time I had with my dad when we hung out. Now, I only get to see him for a couple hours every other weekend. Sucks doesn't it? You know it:P But this experience at the camp-out was something I was glad I experienced and hopefully will again this year.
